Private Chef (New York/ East Hampton)

Job description

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Creating daily healthy and fresh meals for family; organic, farm-to-table & seasonal (Kosher)
Preparation and serving for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Procuring all kitchen supplies, including groceries and any other item as needed, maintaining detailed inventory lists
Sanitation and organization of the kitchen (refrigerator, pantries, drawers, etc.)
Formal table setting and white-glove service
Coordinating with additional household staff
Managing vendors and contractors
Conducting inventory and procuring supplies
Responding to special requests, errands, and related duties as needed

Job requirements

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of related experience working as Private Chef
Culinary Degree from an accredited College or Culinary Institution
Experience working in a Private Kosher Residence is a plus
Excellent references from both current and previous employers
Superb command of the English language, both written and oral
Energetic, creative and versatile
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Polished, professional and poised
Utmost sense of discretion and professionalism
Flexible to work some weekends
Valid Driver’s License
Valid US work authorization
