Job description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Conform with all ISO-9001-2015 processes/procedures
Generate negotiation strategies/contracts and close deals with optimal terms to reduce company spend
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and documentation
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier status (paying attention to quality)
Perform benchmarking and document processes constant with ISO-9001-2015 standards
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Evaluate and partner with reliable vendors/suppliers (building strong relationships)
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Develop 2nd and 3rd suppliers to cut down on lead time risk and reduce cost

Job requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Worked with ERP software management
Solid judgement along with decision making skills
Strong leadership capabilities
Attention to details
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work well across all departments in both facilities (building strong relationships)
