Core Job Responsibilities:
-Perform and process inspections for tissue heart valves as directed by QA Supervisor/Engineer.
-Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
-Assists in identifying manufacturing issues by working with Engineering to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventative action.
-Learns process to disposition non-conforming material by utilizing quality tools and by developing knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
-Assisting group members in problem solving, trouble shooting and the handling of unique situations
-Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes and test fixtures.
-Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures
Background and Experience
-H.S. diploma or equivalent
-6 months - 3 years of medical device experience working with metals or tissue processing
