Sr. Project Manager (100% Remote, Must have Mortgage/Financial industry experience)

IMMEDIATE NEED for a Sr. Project Manager to join a mortgage services organization based in Irvine, CA location for a 6-12+ month contract (W2 or Corp to Corp)

Responsibilities:


Scope Management – Work with the project team, consisting of client team members and implementation team members, to establish an understanding and agreement about the project scope or overall program requirements. Manage multiple projects concurrently, including large scale projects (team of 4 or more) and be responsible for the success of the overall project. Work with the project team(s) to divide work into manageable tasks so that the cost and completion date of the project can be forecasted. Develop the baseline project plan and as necessary incorporate multiple project plans into one overall project plan against which the impact of potential scope changes on schedule, budget, and performance requirements is evaluated. 20%Resource Management – Determine the effective acquisition, use, and reallocation of resources to provide quality products and services to the client.  Coach, motivate, and direct resources for successful project performance, working directly with the project team members. 20%Schedule Management – Creates the project schedule or incorporates multiple schedules into an overall project schedule that include all of the deliverables and resources that are required within the scope of the project. Evaluates the reasonableness of the schedule, ensures that work is accomplished, validates that resources are used as planned and update the schedule as the project progresses. 20%Communication Management – Determines what kind of messages to send, who receives them, when to send them for optimum effectiveness and how to compose them so that all project participants understand the message. Monitors and actively participate in the communication activities to ensure that the effectiveness of the process is established and maintained. Clear, effective communication is critical to the projects success. 20%Risk Management – Examines the risk factors of projects and identifies specific risk items. Risk is managed by taking action to accept, eliminate or mitigate risk. Contingency plans may be created to reduce related uncertainties and consequences. Reducing risk increases the probability of success for a project. 10%Living the Values (10%)
