Description
Flexibility needed, but typically:- Occasional Friday nights- Saturdays 12 p.m.-5p.m. or 2 p.m.-10 p.m. - Sundays 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Loving, hands-on parents are looking for a weekend Nanny to help with childcare and light household duties. They have an 18-month-old and newborn due in December. Both parents are very involved with the children and are looking for someone who will be a great compliment to their family. Their ideal candidate is very engaging, comfortable working alongside parents, and most importantly loves interacting with children! Nanny's number one priority will be caring for the one or both children, as well as helping out with light tidying when children are napping or parents are caring for the kids. Travel: Family has a home in Tahoe and would love a candidate open to working an occasional weekend away with the family.


Experience Requirements

2 years minimum working in a private home with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Easygoing
Flexibility
CPR and TB/Tdap vaccinations up to date
Collaborative personality
Works well alongside parents and can follow parents' lead
Must be engaging and communicative (this is a no-screen-time household)
Must be open to frequent Covid tests; family will not consider someone working in a school or daycare setting

Responsibilities

Nanny will have baby mostly / willing to chip in and do dishes and tidy up
Actively engage with children (singing, reading, playing, narrating to baby, etc.)
Washing children's dishes
Preparing simple healthy meals for the children as well as snacks
Keeping nursery and play areas clean
