Assistant Controller

Job description

Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to become a part of its growing, change-oriented corporate accounting group.

Responsibilities include:

- Full general ledger ownership


- Hands-on role including coaching and managing of accounting staff


- Must enjoy identifying and implementing procedures


- Ability to handle audit functions


- Strong Excel experience.

Requirements are:

CPA is ideal. Must have hands-on corporate accounting experience

Past exposure to corporate acquisitions, systems implementations, and/or process improvement implementation is strongly preferred.

Experience in a mid-sized company is preferred
