POSITION DESCRIPTION:



The Systems Application Manager position is two-fold: security system design and programming implementation, along with full ownership of the customer’s enterprise physical access control system (ePACS) implementation nationwide. The Systems Application Manager will have a CSEIP certification with a deep understanding and experience with the Hirsch/Identiv Velocity platform and Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) applications. Experience will need to include complex and integrated systems design, Velocity database migration, integration of multiple credentials in the PACS environment, testing systems in laboratory environments, technical documentation of system programming standards, and the deployment and troubleshooting of Identiv controllers and credential readers at client sites. The candidate will be responsible for review of all access control applications and their compliance to FICAM, HSPD-12, and the customer’s Approved Products List (APL).



 



The qualified candidate needs to be able to survey a customer facility, capture design information, develop a design and CAD floor plan, implement the design into a proposal, and be able to travel to a site to program, test, and train the customer on their entire physical access control system (PACS), intrusion detection system (IDS), and CCTV systems. The other aspect this candidate will handle is ensuring success of the continued ePACS site roll-out Nationwide. The candidate must be able to liaison between Information System Security, Office of Information Technology, and Identiv to ensure continued site by site transition from stand-alone PACS to the enterprise PACS environment while maintaining ePACS guides and documentation, while also supporting the PMO team managing these projects.



 



Additional job duties will be to ensure that the all project systems meets ePACS/FICAM requirements; to include accounting for all credentials that the customer intends to enroll in the PACS. Verify that all PACS components are selected from the GSA Approved Products List; and accounting for how the customer’s PACS will connect to the federal bridge for certificate enrollment and update of the CRL.



 




  • Conduct an installation quality control review

  • Ensure that the correct software and firmware versions are installed to meet the latest APL approved versions of all hardware and software provided on the project

  • Test connectivity to the certificate validation and update services to ensure enrollment will be a seamless process for the customer upon acceptance; test credential enrollment; and test physical access using all required validation factors to be deployed at the site

  • Develop a comprehensive testing protocol for the installation team, to ensure that all credential readers are tested using all applicable validation factors, and in all modes to be used after acceptance (including degraded modes for offline functionality)

  • Demonstrate credential enrollment and certificate validation to the system owner both at the head end and at selected field access points to demonstrate compliance with ePACS as specified in the project requirements.



 



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:




  • CSEIP certification required

  • CSCIP/G certification preferred

  • Bosch BVMS certifications preferred

  • ASIS certifications preferred

  • 10 + years engineering / design experience of Physical Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV Systems

  • 3-5 years of IT experience with Windows servers and networking

  • Identiv (Hirsch) experience required; extensive experience preferred

  • BS degree preferred

  • Knowledge of network operations and infrastructure.

  • Working knowledge in the administration of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server, client, AD).

  • Bosch BVMS experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communications

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Above average computer and keyboard knowledge and ability to learn new programs

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize                                                            



 



REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:




  • Identiv Velocity (Hirsch) Certified required to include: Velocity Installation Course, Velocity Hardware Course, Velocity Operator Course, and Velocity Administrator Course.

  • CSEIP certification required.

  • CSCIP/G certification preferred.

  • Bosch BVMS Certifications preferred (Professional, Expert, and Master).

  • ASIS Certifications preferred.

  • Microsoft MTA Windows Server Certifications preferred.
