IMMEDIATE NEED for an: Applications Support specialist for a Major California University! Great opportunity to work remote. Great opportunity for possible contract to Hire!

 Position can be 100% remote!

 

Responsibilities:


Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and provide expert-level support for application and web-based solutions including but not limited to Point and Click Solutions, Epic, Dentrix, ProPharm and Harvest.Support interfaces to instruments or applications such as LifePoint Informatics, Rhodes Group FAST, HL7, Thermo Fisher, Bio-Rad.Ensure appropriate security measures are in place and support audits to maintain HIPAA-compliant status.Participate in annual disaster recovery exercises and keeping associated run books updated.Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing complex systems and procedures.Creates complex specifications for systems to meet end-user requirements.Involved in developing complex user interface designs.Plans and executes unit integration and acceptance testing.Participates in cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues.
 

Qualifications:


3 to 5 years minimum experience with a BA/BS or 1 to 3 years minimum with an MA/MSExperience using and supporting Electronic Medical Record Software Applications; Strong preference for Point and Click Application SuiteExperience working with restricted-use data and HIPAA compliance guidelines
