Systems Administrator 



 



IMMEDIATE NEED for a Systems Administrator to join a medical device company for a full-time, direct hire position in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in VMware and end-user support. 




 



Responsibilities:   





Support servers/systems in both physical and VMware environments 


Provide IT support for desktop, software, hardware installation, remote access, etc.  


Assist in problem identification and resolve complex problems 


Schedule system enhancements and security updates 


Monitor and report on system failures and performance 


Lead and assist in projects to improve and optimize the business, system performance and implement changes to systems and servers 






Qualifications:  





3+ years of experience in system administration 


Strong experience in VMware 


Experience improving internal business processes  


Experience working and consulting with internal/external partners 


Excellent communication skills
