Data Warehouse Engineer (w/ Azure or AWS)
IMMEDIATE NEED for a Data Warehouse Engineer to join a well-known franchise for a full-time, direct hire position at their Newport Beach, CA office. The ideal candidate will have strong experiences in SQL Server, ETL, data warehousing and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc).
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain data pipelines
Create logical and physical data design and database modeling
Create data integrations and ingestion processes (REST, SOAP, etc.)
Develop scripts in SQL, Python, etc.
Participate in architecture design and discussions
Work with senior resources to solve data issues and define requirements and solutions
Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in data warehouse development
Strong experiences in SQL Server and ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, etc.
Experience in cloud technologies (Azure is preferred, but open to AWS)
Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, star schemas, etc.
Experience with Agile
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Data Flows, Snow Flake
