AV - Audio/Visual Technician

Global Technology Company seeking a junior to mid-level IT Technical Support Technician who would like to diversify more into the A/V realm. Contract to hire role, training provided to the ideal candidate who possesses the basic technical support profile.

Responsibilities:


Provide quality customer service for all audio/visual events and end user client hardware requests.Provide technical support related to AV display devices, projectors, video teleconferencing (VTC) and ZOOM room systems.Support AV setup, testing, operation and removal of AV equipment, configuration and troubleshooting of all equipment.Assist users and train users on ZOOM to explain basic and complex functionalityMonitor over 70 conference rooms daily for connectivity and troubleshoot issuesMaintain inventory and work with Engineering team to deploy new products within the AV space
Qualifications:


Several years of direct experience with AV and video teleconferencing technologiesBasic experience with ZOOM and ZOOM Voice products, training can be providedUnderstanding of and ability to troubleshoot signal path for AV networksMust be able to read and interpret AV drawingsExperience with networked AV technologyIdeal prior experience within in a help desk or service desk environmentExperience troubleshooting a wide range of IT problems
