POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Systems Application Manager position is two-fold: security system design and programming implementation, along with full ownership of the customer’s enterprise physical access control system (ePACS) implementation nationwide. The Systems Application Manager will have a CSEIP certification with a deep understanding and experience with the Hirsch/Identiv Velocity platform and Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) applications. Experience will need to include complex and integrated systems design, Velocity database migration, integration of multiple credentials in the PACS environment, testing systems in laboratory environments, technical documentation of system programming standards, and the deployment and troubleshooting of Identiv controllers and credential readers at client sites. The candidate will be responsible for review of all access control applications and their compliance to FICAM, HSPD-12, and the customer’s Approved Products List (APL).
The qualified candidate needs to be able to survey a customer facility, capture design information, develop a design and CAD floor plan, implement the design into a proposal, and be able to travel to a site to program, test, and train the customer on their entire physical access control system (PACS), intrusion detection system (IDS), and CCTV systems. The other aspect this candidate will handle is ensuring success of the continued ePACS site roll-out Nationwide. The candidate must be able to liaison between Information System Security, Office of Information Technology, and Identiv to ensure continued site by site transition from stand-alone PACS to the enterprise PACS environment while maintaining ePACS guides and documentation, while also supporting the PMO team managing these projects.
Additional job duties will be to ensure that the all project systems meets ePACS/FICAM requirements; to include accounting for all credentials that the customer intends to enroll in the PACS. Verify that all PACS components are selected from the GSA Approved Products List; and accounting for how the customer’s PACS will connect to the federal bridge for certificate enrollment and update of the CRL.
