Responsibilities include:
Meeting management;
Drafting policies, presentation briefs, information papers, etc. in response to senior leadership direction and information requests (e.g., reports to Congress, GAO audits);
Leveraging industry applied research and other federal agency best practices to standardize and advance military healthcare; and
Providing consultation and thought leadership to senior DoD clients using healthcare expertise to facilitate change management solutions through execution of strategic goals, taskers, and inter/intra-departmental initiatives related to primary and specialty care medicine.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelors and six (6) years or more related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and zero (0) years or more experience.
Graduate degree in healthcare is preferred.
Must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in military health
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet security requirements for obtaining a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must have a Nursing degree with two years post bachelor’s experience in healthcare operations or clinical practice.
Experience with any of the following:
DoD or operational military setting
Primary or specialty care medicine (e.g., cardiology, surgery, pediatrics)
Experience leading or contributing to clinical process improvement projects related to patient safety, quality of care, access to care, or high reliability organization transformation.
Assist clients and program management team with development of military health practices, policies, guidelines, and standards aimed towards maximizing quality, safety, outcomes, access, and cost effectiveness of military healthcare.
Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts, focus groups, and work groups to facilitate military health governance activities and reporting.
