DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all applicable plant rules, maintenance rules and safety rules.
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all plant equipment.
Experience with welding and torching.
Maintain preventative maintenance programs on all plant equipment including wash line, sheet line, thermoformers, front end, granulators and wastewater treatment system, forklifts, etc.
Maintain preventative maintenance programs on all auxiliary equipment including boiler, chiller, blower, air compressors, material handling equipment, etc.
Maintain lubrication programs on all equipment.
Responsible for reporting and documenting all necessary maintenance repair items, required process improvements and safety concerns to the department manager.
Responsible for communicating spare parts requirements to the department manager
Responsible for maintaining the spare parts room.
Responsible for housekeeping within the maintenance areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High school education or equivalent preferred.
Background in hydraulic, pneumatics, boilers, AC/DC motors and PLC’s preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
Forklift license required.
