The PACS Administrator is responsible for the operational, administration and network management of all PACS Servers, workstations, Power Scribe (Voice Recognition System), Radiology Information System and configuring, supporting HL7 Interfaces. This includes the following functions and activities: daily system monitoring, servers and storage management, network management, user management, quality control and performance monitoring, study monitoring and patient information management, training, trouble-shooting and problem solving, system configuration changes and modifications, technical administration, planning, coordination, and documentation.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Experience in Radiology department work flow.
Three years IT related experience including Hipaa training.
Bachelor of Science in Radiological Sciences or equivalent experience in Information Service preferred.
