Job description

Immediate need for Devops Automation Engineer in Westlake, Texas.



What you will be doing as a Devops Automation Engineer:




Candidate should be experienced as a Administers and supports Atlassian products -- Jira and Confluence, Works with network, system engineering and business partners to understand and document simulation engine requirements through use of Jira and Confluence, Convert simulation engine requirements into technical specifications
Candidate should be experienced to Convert simulation engine requirements into technical specifications and develops the simulation engine through the management of internal and external resources and partners
Candidate should also Plans and manages the feature evolution of the simulation engine including the SW release planning, Leads the documentation of simulation engine features and communicates them to internal team members and partner organizations. He should also Contributes to and leverages SW development processes and practices to ensure quality / on-time releases


 



What you will bring to the table as a Devops Automation Engineer:




Bachelor's or master’s degree in EE/CE/CS
Candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing software and / or deploying enterprise applications, should be Experience using network simulation, diagnostic, and software development tools
Candidate should have Experience with Programming / Scripting languages (C OR C# ORC++), experience with virtualizing software applications, experience with communication protocols and internals (5G, 4G, LTE, IMS) or experience with 4G/5G/wireless protocol stack exp.
Candidate if have knowledge of one or more from the below is a huge plus but not needed



Kubernetes
Agile, SCRUM, XP.
Experience developing Linux applications
Familiarity with multi-threading and virtual machines
Experience with REST API design, development and framework
Experience with communication protocols and internals (5G, 4G, LTE, IMS)
Familiarity with relevant 3GPP, ETSI, and GSMA standards
