Description
Wonderful first time parents is seeking a full time professional and experienced nanny for their newborn baby boy.
The ideal person will be able to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with flexibility to cover a few nights/week and possibly a few hours on the weekend as needed. The position would, at times, require flexibility as family’s schedule changes at various times in the year as both parents work full time (although mother will be able to work from home 1-2 days a week, so she could relieve the nanny early on those days). Family does not travel too often, but occasional weekend coverage is required, and 2-3 family trips will likely occur throughout the year as well. Applicants need to be honest, collaborative, calm, positive, proactive, trustworthy, understand the importance of maintaining discretion and attentive to parents’ preferences and style (intuitive to their needs, discreet and stays out of the way when necessary is important).
Experience Requirements
3-5+ years of full-time consistent and recent nanny experience (with newborn experience)

Responsibilities
Baby experience and knowledgeable about routines, reading and communicating to baby as often as possible
Ideally experienced with play-based learning and creating educational activities (e.g., planned engaging activities at home, developmentally appropriate games and activities, engaging projects and crafts, themed weeks, scheduled outings, etc.)
Knowledgeable about child development (e.g., firm when necessary and capable of teaching children manners and etiquette, but also capable of being laid back and fun)
Support teaching and reinforcement of manners and other social skills
Provide developmentally appropriate games and activities, engaging projects and crafts at home and schedule/plan fun outings and events
Ideally be able to prepare fresh and healthy meals for baby
Transport children scheduled activities, when age appropriate (e.g want someone who can drive ideally with their own car)
Domestic duties relating to children (e.g., washing dishes after meals, assistance with children’s laundry, tidying playroom and bedrooms, etc.)
Diligent team player and comfortable wearing many hats while working alongside parents
