Is your idea of the “big picture” more of a massive billboard than a framed 8 x 10 photo? We’re seeking a Test Automation Engineer who is ready to take control of large-scale programs and applications for one of our clients in Denver.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Provide exceptional service to technology and business partners.


• Ensure consistency and quality in automated testing delivery.


• Apply technical expertise and understanding of current industry best practices to assist in defining automation strategy, and to drive forward strategic initiatives.


• Use advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex testing challenges.


• Support and maintenance of the test automation process and framework.


• Develop effective test data management strategies for automated test suites. .


• Review and provide input on test strategies and plans written by others.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JOB

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing solutions.


• Coordinating with team members Onshore/Offshore.


• Complete understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.


• Understanding of, and applied experience testing applications across a range of technologies including web, mobile, batch processing, web services and messaging, and reporting.


• Experience working with and developing automated test scripts using UFT framework


• Experience working with keyword and data-driven test automation frameworks.


• Experience developing automated web service tests using HP UFT/


• Strong experience using HP ALM or similar tools for test lifecycle management.


• Experience working with Continuous Integration.


• Experience working closely with developers, test engineers, and support staff for troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.


• Strong MS Office applications skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Estimation of test automation efforts

EDUCATION

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experience
