Job description

Loyal Source is hiring a Pharmacist to work at Gallup IHS located in Gallup, NM. 



 



REQUIREMENTS:





  • Pharmacist shall be a graduate of a school of pharmacy approved by a state accrediting agency.




  • A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in the United States or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.




  • 1 year of experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:



 





  • Assist in ensuring the appropriate use of pharmaceutical products by each patient within the requirements and objectives of the patient's total healthcare plan.




  • Assist in ensuring the prescriptions or medication orders are appropriate for the patient and that the correct pharmaceutical products are selected, compounded, packaged, and labeled for dispensing and administration, and that medications are delivered to the patient when needed. 




  • Assist in health promotion and disease prevention activities.




  • Assist in ensuring that the service unit pharmacy operations and services embrace best practices, monitor and learn from the experiences of other pharmacists, and maximize the use of human, material, and financial resources.
