We are looking for a remarkable, innovative, and experienced Software Developer to join an established team in Mt. Laurel, NJ (currently working remotely due to COVID) to build reliable, scalable cloud-based web applications with the mindset of creating the perfect API.
What you will be doing as a Sr. Software Developer
Write server-side code for the integration of Third Party devices into the enterprise ecosystem
Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, resilient, and robust cloud-based services to facilitate support for this ambitious project
Manage development, continuous integration, and deployment for various microservices in the platform
Work closely with QA to create automated application-level test suites
Apply industry best-practice software standards and technologies to complex business and product development problems
Collaborate with variety of related teams both internal to the client and external such as vendors, suppliers, customers, etc to create and develop scalable solutions that integrate well within the existing ecosystem while meeting the overall platform requirements
Present and champion architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external stakeholders while developing prototypes to demonstrate proof of concept and build user stories
What you bring to the table as a Sr. Software Developer
6+ years of hands-on professional experience writing production-level code in mainstream programming languages with an emphasis on API, Third Party integrations, and multi-device/multi-app ecosystems in a cloud-based environment
3+ years of experience writing programs utilizing Node.js
Expertise in the methodology, best practices, capabilities, and limitations to designing and developing cloud-based web services with experience successfully designing, developing, and releasing code / programs to meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements
Experience working in large-scale production deployments with hands-on proficiency in designing architecture for high-volume applications, execution of performance tuning and related troubleshooting
Highly proficient in the design, development, and maintenance of APIs for Web Services
Proficiency in Web Application development; cloud deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP; data streaming and data pipeline creation using Kafka/Spark or similar tool; IoT development
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with strong communication abilities in both written and verbal interactions; the ability to communicate highly complex and technical ideas in non-technical terms for cross-functional stakeholders without technical background to understand clearly
A degree is not required for this role; however in lieu of equitable hands-on professional experience (+/- 4 years) a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field of study will be considered
