We are looking for a remarkable, innovative, and experienced Data Architect to join an established team in Philadelphia (currently working remotely due to COVID) to work closely with relevant stakeholders, data analysts, and data scientists within the organization to drive the development of software solutions which will deliver insights to customer and network behavior that shape business decisions and impact the future of the business.



What you will be doing as a Data Architect




Support the Data Science and Engineering Team in acquiring, studying, simulating, and modeling to enable data as a key driver and core functional component toward better understanding, predicting and dynamically optimizing the access network to improve overall user experience
Develop large scale data pipelines, exposing data sources within the Client's enterprise to disperse to internal Data Analysts and Data Scientists
Develop REST APIs utilizing AWS Lambda and API Gateway
Develop Spark streaming and batch jobs to clean and transform data
Write build automation scripts to deploy and manage cloud resources
Write unit and integration tests
Create supporting testing / QA documentation to ensure requirements traceability
Create internal business solutions using data feeds, pipelines, and data warehousing to create robust solutions that enable more clear and transparent business analytics and more calculated risk management and decision making abilities across the organization


What you bring to the table as a Sr. Software Developer




5+ years of experience directly related to hands-on professional development of code, libraries, components, or total software solutions / applications using mainstream, current programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, Golang, Node.js, etc
2+ years of experience directly related to working within a large-scale enterprise data lake/warehouse environment and/or big data architecture
Highly proficient with relevant systems, platforms, and tools such as GitHub, Concourse CI, Jira, SAM, AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, AWS EMR, DataBricks, Kinesis, Kafka, S3, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc
Highly proficient with the fundamentals and methodologies related to relational databases and data visualization
Demonstrable portfolio of previous projects in at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, Java, Node.js
Proficient in test frameworks and writing unit/integration tests
Proficient in Unix-based operating systems
Proficient in creation of Automation scripts for Built Automation and Test Automation using Python, Ruby, and/or Bash
