Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $25/hour D.O.E. (standard benefits: paid vacation, holidays and sick days)
Children: 2 Girls: 4-years-old (Pre-K) and 8-years-old (3rd grade)
Pets: 2 friendly labradors

Description
Sweet, laid back family of four is seeking a fun, upbeat Nanny for their two girls, ages 4 and 8 years old. The girls are fun and energetic and love to play indoors and out! Their eldest is going into 3rd grade and has dyslexia which she is managing well. Nanny will be responsible for all child-related care (planning activities, keeping kid areas tidy, preparing kid-friendly meals, etc.) as well as helping with the logistics of virtual learning. Their 8-year-old is pretty savvy, but they need someone to help keep her on top of her schoolwork and to engage their little one in age-appropriate workbooks and incorporate ABC's and counting into everyday play. Their ideal candidate speaks Spanish and has Pre-school experience, but most importantly is engaging and will love spending quality time with their girls! Parents work from home usually, though mom works in medicine and will sometimes be at the office. They'd love someone open to travel and who is flexible to stay a little later sometimes if needed, but more often than not Mondays and Wednesday you'll be relieved at 4 p.m. LIVE-IN ACCOMMODATIONS: Garden apartment with one bedroom, one bath, living room and kitchenette (sink, small stove top and fridge, no oven) will be provided. It's a charming cottage with a balcony deck that overlooks a vineyard.


Experience Requirements

2 years minimum working in a private home as a nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English
Fluency in Spanish (nice-to-have, but not required)
E.C.E. background (nice-to-have, but not required)
