Is your idea of the “big picture” more of a massive billboard than a framed 8 x 10 photo? We’re seeking a QA Engineer who is ready to take control of large-scale programs and applications for one of our clients in Denver or Santa Rosa, CA.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

• The QA Test Engineer is responsible for the development and integration of our Client’s enterprise application systems. This includes proprietary enterprise applications designed and deployed in-house as well as third-party applications hosted externally.


• Responsible for software testing design, planning, automated scripting and execution for our Data Warehouse application.


• Work closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JOB 

• BS in Computer Science or BA with equivalent technical competency 


• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical data analysis, data warehouse and API testing experience


• Technical background and an understanding of the finance industry preferred


• Excellent knowledge of software testing lifecycle and the associated deliverables


• Excellent knowledge of relational database applications (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL Query language)


• Proven ability to define, develop and maintain automated test cases with automated testing tools (QuerySurge, ReadyAPI Pro)


• Proven experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS


• Able to review system and functional requirements and extract data to use in preparing automated test plans and scripts


• Knowledge of testing/development concepts and industry trends for cloud technologies


• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex and diverse projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines


• Proven understanding and experience with Agile approaches (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to software testing


• Software testing certification is a plus (ISTQB Software Tester Certification, Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE))Knowledge and understanding of project management tools and duties 


• Azure DevOps experience a plus
