Immediate need for a National Transport Manager in Littleton, CO.
What you will be doing as a National Transport Manager:
Responsible for hiring, developing and managing a team of transport design and implementation engineers
Responsible for ensuring that national long-haul transport implementation is performed in a timely manner
Design national long-haul transport network to ensure that it meets DISH reliability criterion
Responsible for design and implementation of microwave network
Manage operational and work assignments of the team to ensure consistency of approach and design assumptions
Establish strong rapport within team members, supporting national practices that drive employee engagement and productivity
What you will bring to the table as a National Transport Manager:
BS or MS in Engineering Management, or technical degree with an equivalent combination of experience and education
5+ years of experience in the telecom industry working on long haul transport circuits
Working knowledge of microwave networks
3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
An organized, collaborative, and structured approach to managing people, project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies across systems/teams
Strong project management skills
Strong ability to manage vendors
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High energy to maintain a sense of urgency and to set the tone for all teams involved
Dynamic personality and ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with all levels of the organization
Strong ability to document, vet requirements, and drive quality
Experience or technical understanding of wireless transport network functions/environment preferred
Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
