Manager - Heatlh Data & Analytics
(2 months+ contract with potential for extension)
Seeking a lead or Manager for a prominent Healthcare Company in Long Beach. You will be leading a small team to deliver Health Data Analytics, Reporting and Quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Research & Analysis Team and Health Care Informatics departmentDesign studies and perform advanced analyses to make recommendations to the teamDesign and build reports per each business units requestsSupervise assigned staff, monitor and help resolve issues that ariseWork with data/databasese, utilize SQL to write, confirm or test queriesManage team projects and distribute work accordingly
Qualifications:
Several years of data analysis preferably in a health care or managed care settingSeveral years of experience managing or leading staffKnowledge of healthcare data related to membership eligibility, encounters, pharmacy, provider, and financial data is idealUnderstanding of CMS Star Rating methodology, HEDIS, and HCC risk adjustment methodology preferredExperience with predictive modeling and machine learning, requiredMaster's Degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or related field, with emphasis on quantitative analysisTechnical Experience: SAS programming skills, including SAS-BASE, SAS-STAT, SAS-SQL, and SAS Macros along with Tableau report developmentStrong SQL query language capabilities
