HANDS-ON IT MANAGER – SMALLER ENVIRONMENT

*NEW* VERY HANDS-ON IT Manager - Small Shop 




 

IMMEDIATE NEED for very hands-on IT Manager who can handle a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to: hands-on virtualization experience, strong AD / Outlook experience, laptop / hardware set-up, working with vendors, analyzing potentially new tech for implementation, basic server administration, and more. 



Must sit on-site part-time at minimum. 

Must be able to work direct without sponsorship or transfer. 

 

Responsibilities:


Active Directory work including add/delete users, password resets, AD redesign / distribution groups, etc.;Basic server administration; Virtualization;Oversee internal support;Work with Vendors;Business process improvement;
Qualifications: 


Proven experience in hands-on role with AD, Outlook, Virtualization, Server administration, etc.;Remote support and VPN experience a must have;Proven experience working in small/mid sized, lean environments;Proven experience wearing many hats;Proven experience communicating with external vendors, analyzing new technology, negotiating contracts, etc.;Excellent communication skills;Experience with hands-on hardware builds;Etc.
Preferred Qualifications:


Ability to sit on-site full time; part-time is a mandatory minimum;
