*NEW* SQL DBA - CONTRACT TO PERMANENT NO C2C






IMMEDIATE NEED for a SQL DBA who has experience managing 1000's of SQL Servers / Databases with proven performance tuning and troubleshooting experience. 



*Can sit remotely but MUST WORK ON PACIFIC TIME* 



*W2 ONLY NO C2C* 



*Must be able to work direct without sponsorship or transfer* 

 

Responsibilities: 

 


A strong understanding of SQL Server 2005-2017Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting SWL Server systems Manage SQL Server Databases through multiple product environments from mission critical production systems Configure and maintain database servers and processes including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and securityMonitor multiple SQL Server instances for performance related issues Solve problems for enterprise level applicationsWork with other team DBA members, share domain and tech expertise, provide cross training to other team membersPerform data load/unload, export and import operationsBack up database and log files and validateImplement back up and recovery strategyImplement DB backups, restores, recovery modes, database shrink operations, DBCC commandsImplement and support SQL Server Error logs and Windows logs to identify issuesBe proactive rather than reactive to DB needsPerform Scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Qualifications: 



Database recoverySQL Server Database Enterprise EditionSQL Performance Tuning and SQL Server Database Enterprise EditionPTO using native monitoringSSRS, SSAAS,SSIS knowledgeOn call availability for rotating schedule Good communication skills
