Description
START DATE: Ideally Sept 8, 2020 Loving, close-knit family of 4 is moving from SF to Mill Valley and looking for a warm, energetic nanny who genuinely loves working with children. They have two boys' a sweet, lovable 18-month-old and an inquisitive 4-year-old. Care is primarily for their infant as their toddler is in preschool full-time. Nanny will be responsible for driving their toddler to and from school, and caring for him if he is home sick or school is closed (for holidays, or unexpected closures). They'd love someone who delights in the curiosity of children, is proactive around development and enjoys collaborating with parents on milestones and an evolving schedule. In addition to childcare, the Nanny will be in charge of light tidying, children's laundry and kids' meals. They'd love it if someone were also open to making a simple, healthy dinner for the family each night.Both parents are working from home through next year due to Covid, but have a home office and will not overcrowd the nanny during the day.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum recent experience working as a nanny in a private home with verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
Driver required for getting to and from work / Not using public transportation due to Covid
Must be adhering to CDC and County guidelines regarding Covid

Responsibilities
Full-time care for 18-month old
Part-time care for toddler + full-time as needed (If he is home sick or during school closures due to holidays, poor air quality, etc.)
Prepare children's meals and prep toddler's lunch for school the next day
Drive toddler to and from school
Engage and plan daily activities for infant
Light tidying
Children's laundry
Check in and collaborate with parents
Ideally preparing family's dinner (simple, basic and healthy meals)
