Description
Family of 4 in Los Gatos is seeking an outgoing, educated nanny for their two school-age children: 10-years old (boy) and 12-years old (girl). Their son loves computer games, science and engineering and their daughter loves horseback riding, art and politics. Both kids love to swim (the family has a pool on the property), playing with friends and getting outdoors. They are like little grown-ups and really fun to engage with! The best Nanny for them is chatty and young at heart with a great sense of humor. The children are generally good students so a tutor is not necessary, but Nanny should be comfortable with overseeing distance learning and helping with homework. *While the children are at home the schedule is 9 a.m.-5 p.m., however when school reopens the schedule will shift to 11 a.m.-7p.m.Their ideal candidate will be excited to travel 5-7 weeks of the year (the family has a beautiful home in Maui), is upbeat, and looking for a long-term commitment.


Experience Requirements

2 years minimum working as a nanny or family assistant in a private residence with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

College degree required
Educational background preferred
Fluency in English

Qualifications

Driver required (family can provide household car)
Must be available 5-7 weeks for travel
Outgoing
Great sense of humor
Comfortable with virtual learning (does not need to create curriculum, but offer assistance / oversee)
