Job Summary
As a Deployment Engineer, you will lead configuration management and deployment of our Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled prototype. Your key contribution is the roll-out of standardized Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and associated tooling. The prototype will be developed in Microsoft Azure, using industry standard tools such as Git, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully taking the prototype application and local ‘core teams’ through all aspects of change management. This starts with the education on the new harmonized PLM and CM processes and ends with the taking care of the soft aspects of people and organization change management
- In the team you will find key stakeholders from development, machine learning and artificial intelligence, program management and cost accounting, cyber security, procurement, QA/QC, and others like Export Control
- Oversee small to medium-size release trains with complex scope and inter-dependencies.
- Facilitate the coordinated preparation of release planning for the release train, including communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.
- Manage changes to the quarterly plan and the impacts of those changes.
- Actively manage the backlog as well as ALM tool data integrity for accurate reporting, including the collection of metrics and KPIs.
- Coordinate large feature releases and continuous delivery of value to customers where multiple teams, release trains, or solution groups are involved in development.
- Resolve/report issues and manages dependencies and risks across the ART and between ARTs.
- Leverage agile delivery metrics and regular Agile ceremonies to identify and drive continuous improvement, to maximize organizational performance and execution against the backlog
- Apply Agile principles and methodology solutions with a pragmatic, stakeholder management approach.
- Collaborate with engineers to solve complex technical problems and push us to deliver higher quality code at an ever-increasing rate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in the offered position, IT Engineering, or IT Architecture.
- Expertise with production deployments, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github/GitLab
- Knowledge and experience with Linux (RHEL), Kubernetes, Docker
- Expertise with MicroServirces, API Dev and Amazon Web Service.
- Familiar with Pivotal, especially Cloud Foundry
- Direct working experience with monitoring applications like Sysdig and Splunk
- Experience with TP Networking
- Secret Clearance
