Is your idea of the “big picture” more of a massive billboard than a framed 8 x 10 photo? We’re seeking a Billing Process Analyst who is ready to take control of large-scale programs and applications for one of our clients in Denver, CO.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- This position will manage the data lifecycle migrating volumes of data from various systems into one complex telecom billing system.
- Research company data to comprehend underlying processes and dependencies in support of the migration objectives.
- Query multiple types of databases for various high and low-level information primarily using SQL and scripting (Python).
- Extraction and organization of pertinent data in order to map the records correctly to support the following (not limited to):
- Historical and future billing data for all types of usage, products, services
- Bundling/package options
- Tax code mapping
- Database flags for future reporting needs (such as regulatory requirements)
- Create and implement monitoring processes to ensure data integrity (not limited to):
- Parallel bill run activities in legacy, test, and live environments
- Automated monitoring report creation to call out errors if applicable
- Document relevant processes and procedures
- Drive progress by communicating project schedules, deliverables, and inter-dependencies with other projects by tracking activity, calling out issues, and recommending actions
EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JOB
- Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
- Ability to navigate several types of systems intuitively
- Oral/Written Communication – Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
- Computer skills required: Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge along with intermediate Microsoft Office skills; Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
- Must be a subject matter expert in telecom billing system migration including in-depth knowledge of telecom billing systems, migration approaches, methodologies, disciplines, standards, and tools.
- Minimum of 5 previous projects, in the same role, with successful billing system migrations for telecom companies with a multi-product portfolio including multi leg wholesale arrangements, retail and enterprise customers, peering platforms, and recurring vs no-recurring billing items and packages.
PREFERRED
- Big Query SQL experience preferred
- Python knowledge (familiarity preferred)
- JBilling knowledge (familiarity preferred)
