Accounting Manager

IMMEDIATE NEED for an Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing company that is in Long Beach, Ca. This company offers 100% coverage for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k), and the full complement of paid vacations, sick days, etc. Great opportunity for growth, as well.

Responsibilities: This position will manage a team of 4 to 6 employees in the Accounting department and will be responsible for all aspects of month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, and internal controls. Opportunity to be a Leader in the corporate accounting functions and support the growth of the Company through process improvement initiatives.

               

Qualifications:


At least 6 years of experience. Combination of experience in Big 4 Public accounting and medium-sized accounting departments ($50 - $500m ) would be a strong plus!CPA is preferred, but not requiredAbility to provide guidance and strategic direction for the company to managementKnowledge of accounting, ERP Systems, and expertise in Excel, Access, & PowerpointAbility to manage several projects within tight timeframes
