Loyal Source Government Services is currently hiring multiple Emergency Department Nurse Practitioners to work at the VA Medical Center located in Long Beach, CA to work as a civilian contractor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be licensed or otherwise recognized as a nurse practitioner in a State, possess a master’s degree from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and maintain full and current certification as a nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body. Authorization for perspective authority is required.


• Have three (3) years of clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), three (3) years preferred. At least one-year experience in outpatient care in an Emergency Department environment is also required.


• Be currently certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.


• Be a U.S. Citizen or be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have the ability to communicate, understand, read and write English proficiently.


• Not be pending or have had past felony charges against him/her.
