NextGen Global Resources is looking for a talented and dedicated Data Analytics Software Engineer to develop and maintain its client’s Analytics data store and tools/applications in cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates will be local to Philadelphia. Apply today!



What you will be doing as an ETL Developer IV:




As a member of the team, you will be responsible for developing new tools and platforms, managing existing tools and infrastructure, and setting policy for usage and future direction
Development and maintenance of ETL applications written using Apache Spark, Java, SQL/Pentaho and Python.
Performance tuning and management of SQL based Databases like Oracle, MySQL, Redshift etc.
Backup/Restore/Archiving of Database
Exploring new data store technologies for various business scenarios like Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Real time analytics etc.


What you will bring to the table as an ETL Developer IV:




Java/Python experience is a must.
Extensive ETL and Database experience with SQL based DB.
5 years’ experience in DevOps specially test automation and application deployment/monitoring.
Experience with Open stack and/or AWS Cloud services
Experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred) system
