5G Massive MIMO Radio Chief Engineer

Our client is looking for Chief Engineer/ Architect in Richardson, TX.



What you will be doing as a Chief Engineer:




Candidate will help as a lead architect for the mMIMO radio electromechanical solution which will be used by the R&D team to implement and develop the product. Candidate will define the overall architecture to optimize performance, product, and manufacturability
Candidate will be the owner of Beamforming Calibration feature, architecture, and requirement, including Antenna specification, monitor standards body activities to and participate (if necessary) to influence the industry with the innovative vision of the company
Candidate will provide support and guidance for program management, provide support for PLM and pre-sales in RFI/RFQ cases and will also work closely with engineering and QA teams to drive the timely and quality release of new products and features, approve test plans and test reports
Candidate should have some proven track record rom 5G or 4G radio program lead architect / chief engineer role some knowledge on RF, digital and mechanical design and verification


What you will bring to the table as a Chief Engineer:




Good to have MS degree in EE or CS or related area
Candidate should have good knowledge on mobile networks, especially on 3GPP LTE 4G and 5G standards in RAN and the interface between radio network and core network. Additional knowledge on the core network standards is a plus
Some familiarity with electronics, PWB, and mechanical components supplier base and supply chain is huge plus but absolutely not required
Experience working with on cost efficient manufacturing methodologies and technologies
