Program Manager / Porfolio Manager
Healthcare Environment - 12 months contract role
(Must be local to the Los Angeles or Southern California region, remote curently until next year, onsite afterwards)
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain communications with all stakeholders and project teamsMaintain projects to deliver within scope, on time, within budget and within quality standardsLead projects to adhere to PMO processes and methodologies and make appropriate improvementsMaintain all project documentations, reports and related dashboardsResponsible for Project inventory, tracking and PMO toolsEnsure that projects are in the green or get projects back to the green status when appropriateAnalyze Risk and issue summaries for actionable items or correctionsCoach Project Managers when necessary to foster project progression and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Solid tenure within Program Management, Project Management and Portfolio ManagementExperience within enterprise level organizations and work with various business entitiesBackground within the Healthcare environment is highly desiredExperience in working with a PMO and working with various tools and methodologiesAbility to lead process improvements and mandates of the PMO officeFunction as a liaison between technology, operations and business units
