Description
Family in the Marina is seeking a fun, sweet and engaging Nanny for their 2-year-old. Ideally this person will be able to work four days a week (Monday-Thursday, 11- 6 p.m.) until March when their new baby arrives and the position will become 45 hours/week. They'd love someone comfortable working with siblings or different ages at one time, who loves to get outside and play and enjoys getting down on kids' level.


The best candidate for them is flexible, able to drive their own car, and open to travel if needed (post-pandemic). They are looking for a minimum commitment of 2 years, but prefer someone who can stay with them long term.


Experience Requirements

2 years minimum experience working in a private home as a nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

Driver with personal vehicle for use
Must be comfortable with parents working from home
Experienced working with toddlers and babies
Kind, caring
Reliable
Flexibility to stay later/arrive earlier if needed
Open to travel (post-pandemic)

Responsibilities

Making lunch, preparing snacks and dinner for child
Picking child up from school at 11:45 a.m.
Putting child down for nap (1-3 p.m.)
Laundry
Light cleaning related to kids (organizing / putting away toys, books, clothes, tidying bedroom and playroom)
Grocery shopping/buying foods needed for the kids
Planning outings to the park, walks, etc.
Playing in the backyard, or having fun indoors
