Job description

The primary objective of this role is the configuration of HRIS systems to meet the business needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of HR data analysis and reporting, systems administration, compensation, and benefits experience. The HRIS Analyst will provide professional guidance, coordination, analysis, reporting, and support in the effective and consistent application of HRIS, Compensation and Benefits, and Reporting. This position reports to the Total Rewards Manager.

The ideal candidate will be able to
• Demonstrate applied knowledge in configuring system security, implementations, integrations, and custom report writing, or a combination of areas is required
• Troubleshoot system issues, demonstrating knowledge of business processes, and domain security principles.
• Possess strong system configuration design skills with an understanding of a position-based system
• Provide a full range of systems administration support and including a complete knowledge transfer to end-users to ensure system adoption and participate in the development of training material for HR staff
• Develop ad hoc reports, conduct analysis, and propose a recommendation
• Be creative, analytical, and results-driven orientation, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis and communicate results effectively
• Partner with Total Rewards Manager to develop data analytics dashboards and reports for initiatives and business strategy
• Complete audit activities, compliance requests, and ensure system data integrity
• Identify opportunities to maximize system accuracy and efficiency and present recommended solutions
• Perform activities like job evaluation, pay administration, ad-hoc reports, short term projects to support HR departments to hire and retain talent, assist in creation and rollout of compensation structure, compensation policies, and HR programs
• Participate in and conduct salary surveys, completing market surveys and compiling data from published sources, ensure data is accurate and available for use and help make informed decisions
• Analyze competitive trends in compensation and identify the company's position against the market
• Recommend annual merit planning based on competitive market analysis and assist in bonus programs
• Assist in day-to-day administration and auditing of all benefit plans including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit programs
• Proven experience successfully managing multiple, multi-faceted projects, producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, preferred in Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, statistics, or business administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR analysis, HRIS, compensation, and benefits experience and supporting a global Human Resources system is preferred
• Strong research, analytical, statistical, and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge of broad-based compensation and HRIS systems, experience in system configuration, troubleshooting, business rule setup, and understand how to train employees for systems adoption
• A proven track record of maintaining confidentiality, meeting strict deadlines, and maintaining a professional demeanor
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and train/mentor junior staff
• Manufacturing and union experience a plus
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (IF statement, PivotTable, Macro, and etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HRIS/HCM system
• Experience running, modifying, and creating queries preferred
• Experience with Visio, Python, Tableau preferred
• PHR or CCP or related education preferred
